Senior Medical Director, Early-Stage Clinical Development

Revolution Medicines seeks an experienced Senior Medical Director to lead clinical science and medical strategy for early-stage oncology molecules in development. The role encompasses clinical trial oversight, regulatory coordination, cross-functional collaboration, and team leadership within their RAS-targeted cancer drug program.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical science strategy and medical aspects of clinical development plans across molecules and indications
• Oversee clinical trial design, execution, site selection, patient recruitment, and data management
• Serve as primary medical contact for clinical development program questions and study reporting
• Mentor cross-functional clinical development team and foster collaboration across scientific, regulatory, and commercial functions
• Analyze clinical data and provide strategic insights to guide program development and regulatory decisions

Requirements

• MD with oncology training preferred; 7+ years clinical development experience in pharma/biotech or academic settings
• Early-phase drug development experience and understanding
• Expertise in clinical data analysis, interpretation, and pharmacology principles
• Experience with clinical trial design, site selection, and regulatory compliance
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership capabilities
• Knowledge of regulatory pathways including Breakthrough Therapy Designation and Accelerated Approvals
