Executive Director, Early Clinical Development

Revolution Medicines seeks an Executive Director of Early Clinical Development to lead strategic planning and operational execution of clinical programs for oncology molecules targeting RAS-addicted cancers. This role involves cross-functional leadership, clinical trial oversight, regulatory engagement, and data-driven decision-making across early to late-stage development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive clinical development plans aligned with scientific, regulatory, and commercial objectives
• Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional clinical development teams across multiple programs
• Oversee clinical trial design, site selection, patient recruitment, data management, and regulatory compliance
• Analyze clinical data and provide strategic insights to guide program decisions and milestones
• Establish and maintain relationships with clinical investigators, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders

Requirements

• MD, PhD, or equivalent advanced biomedical degree with 13+ years in pharma/biotech or senior academic rank
• Proven experience designing and conducting multiple clinical trials from Phase 1 through late-stage development
• Strong expertise in clinical data analysis, interpretation, and regulatory applicability in drug development
• Experience authoring clinical development strategies and presenting to governance bodies
• Deep knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines for clinical trial conduct
• Track record leading and managing cross-functional teams in clinical development settings
