Job SummaryThe CompanyMacdonald & Company is partnered with a privately held real estate investment and development firm in Denver to appoint an Acquisitions Manager focused on multifamily investments.The company is an active investor and developer with a growing portfolio of multifamily communities across the Western United States. With a disciplined investment approach and strong capital partnerships, the firm continues to expand through both acquisitions and development in high-growth markets.As the platform continues to scale its multifamily strategy, the firm is seeking an Acquisitions Manager who will play a key role in identifying, underwriting, and executing new investment opportunities.The PositionThe Acquisitions Manager will support the sourcing, underwriting, and execution of multifamily investment opportunities across target markets.Working closely with senior leadership, the individual will be responsible for evaluating new acquisitions, conducting financial analysis, and supporting transactions from initial screening through closing. This role will also involve building relationships with brokers, owners, and industry partners to help generate deal flow.This position offers the opportunity to join a growing investment platform where acquisitions play a central role in the firm’s expansion strategy.Role ResponsibilitiesSource and evaluate multifamily acquisition opportunities across targeted markets.Perform detailed financial modeling, underwriting, and investment analysis for prospective transactions.Conduct market research and comparable analysis to support investment decisions.Assist in preparing investment memoranda and presentations for internal decision-making and investment committee review.Support transaction execution including due diligence, third-party coordination, and closing processes.Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, owners, lenders, and other industry partners to generate deal flow.Work closely with asset management, development, and capital markets teams throughout the investment lifecycle.Track market activity and provide insights on emerging investment opportunities and competitive landscape.
