Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Seeking certified registered nurse anesthetist to provide care at a federal medical center in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

Your daily responsibilities may include:

Conducting patient assessments
Educating patients about their surgery and recovery
Preparing anesthetic for patients
Administering medication
Monitoring a patient's vitals and adjusting anesthesia levels during surgery
Overseeing the patient's safety as they recover from anesthesia
Working with other medical staff to develop pain management plans

Qualifications include:

Strong patient assessment skills
Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in oral communication, written communication, interpersonal relations, customer service, adaptability, and change management
Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in word processing PC applications
Valid state RN license (must meet education requirement(s) for state licensure)
Certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
Certified advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association
Current BLS for healthcare provider CPR or CPR/AED for the professional rescuer certification.
