Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
Seeking certified registered nurse anesthetist to provide care at a federal medical center in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.
Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Conducting patient assessments
- Educating patients about their surgery and recovery
- Preparing anesthetic for patients
- Administering medication
- Monitoring a patient's vitals and adjusting anesthesia levels during surgery
- Overseeing the patient's safety as they recover from anesthesia
- Working with other medical staff to develop pain management plans
Qualifications include:
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in oral communication, written communication, interpersonal relations, customer service, adaptability, and change management
- Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in word processing PC applications
- Valid state RN license (must meet education requirement(s) for state licensure)
- Certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA)
- Certified advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association
- Current BLS for healthcare provider CPR or CPR/AED for the professional rescuer certification.
