Registered Nurse - Pre-Operative (Pre-Op RN)

About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Pre-Operative Registered Nurse to prepare patients for surgical procedures in a fast-paced perioperative setting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring patient safety, readiness, and optimal surgical outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform pre-operative assessments, including medical history review and vital signs Prepare patients physically and emotionally for surgery Verify consents, labs, and surgical documentation Administer pre-op medications and initiate IV access Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative teams Educate patients and families on procedures and expectations Qualifications Active RN license (BSN preferred) BLS/ACLS certification 1–2+ years of acute care or perioperative experience preferred Strong assessment and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr fullcircle
