Environmental Project Manager

CA-Irvine 24 Executive Park Suite 100 Irvine, CA 92614, USA SUMMARY Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking a full‑time Environmental Project Manager. The role involves planning, executing, reviewing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager will support the Environmental practice in conducting site assessments and all associated project management responsibilities. We are hiring individuals with 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting, due diligence, or risk‑management services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS Manage multiple projects concurrently. Oversee quality control throughout the project's life cycle. Coordinate the efforts of Partner team members to deliver projects according to plan. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the Partner team and clients to deliver quality within designated time frames. Adapt to several technical disciplines as required. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the project from proposal through final report submission. Generate proposals, engage subcontractors and field staff, monitor progress, and communicate with clients. Communicate project expectations (e.g., Client‑specific SOW, templates) to team members in a clear, timely manner. Provide recommendations to relationship managers and clients, considering assessment impact on transactions. Identify and resolve project issues. Deliver progress reports and recommendations to relationship managers and clients. Manage client follow‑up, questions, and concerns. Coordinate follow‑up questions with field staff during the review process. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members. Respond to client requests for scope changes and address revisions. Facilitate final report delivery and invoice issuance. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Extensive knowledge of ASTM‑1527‑05 and Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process, and Phase II/site investigation process. Excellent internal and external communication skills. Strong focus on customer service. Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Proven ability to deliver quality products on time. Exceptional writing skills. Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team. Understanding of environmental consulting related to risk management and due diligence. Proficiency in project estimating/proposals. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, or a similar technical discipline. 5–7 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, due diligence, or risk‑management services. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must read, write, speak, and comprehend English. Must communicate clearly in person and over the telephone. Visual acuity adequate for reading printed information and computer screens. COMPENSATION Salary range: $75,000 to $90,000. This is the expected pay for the role. Compensation may also include a discretionary incentive bonus program based on individual and organizational performance.
