As a Trade Support Associate in the Prime Finance Trading Services team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our trading operations and ensuring seamless execution across global markets. As a Trade Support Associate in the Prime Finance Trading Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all trades executed are entered completely and accurately into the Risk Management systems and liaising with various other teams on issues related to Equity Swap trades: e.g. Product Control, Sales, Sales Support, Cash and Derivative Settlements, Client Services, Reconciliations, Technology, Business Management.The Prime Finance Trading Services Team is a part of the Corporate and Investment Bank which is a global leader across investment banking, wholesale payments, markets and securities services. We provide strategic advice, raise capital, manage risk and extend liquidity in markets around the world.Job responsibilitiesPerforms core start-of-day and end-of-day controls to ensure Risk is correctly represented for Front OfficeManages daily Equity Swap/derivative trade life cycle events (expiries, dividends, corporate actions, etc.)Ensures all trade capture and reporting exceptions are verified, cleared and escalated appropriately in a timely mannerLiaises with various other Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office Teams on issues related to Cash Equity tradesPerforms continuous improvement of the pre and post trade controls environmentMaximizes trade processing STP (Straight-through processing ) through tactical problem solving and root cause analysisProduces analysis for the trading desks and senior managementProvides input into core projects including; industry-wide initiatives, regulatory, trading strategy, operational programsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsStrong security and derivative products knowledgeOperational experienceSound understanding of Equity Swaps, Cash Equities, Derivative products, trading workflows and corporate actionsExperience in supporting Trading Desks in Prime/ Hedge Fund businessFamiliarity of various risk management systems and an advanced MS Excel skillsStrong PC Skills : in particular Excel, Word and PowerPointExcellent Analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication and presentation skillsConfidence to communicate with senior managers effectivelyStrong problem-solving skillsStrong work ethic and the ability to adapt to different business needsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Proficient in using trading platforms and software, with hands-on experience in navigating and optimizing these tools.
