Our Team The AMER EMSX Trade Desk team provides real-time support for Bloomberg's electronic trading platform used by institutional trading clients across equities, options, and futures markets. We work directly with traders to resolve trading and workflow issues, answer product questions, and help clients make the most of Bloomberg's Execution Management System (EMSX). Beyond supporting clients, we partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Implementation, brokers, exchanges, and global support teams to continuously improve the trading experience and shape the future of our platform. What's the role? We're looking for a collaborative, client-focused professional to join the AMER EMSX Trade Desk team. In this role, you'll support clients using Bloomberg's electronic trading platform by troubleshooting order and execution issues, answering workflow questions, and helping clients navigate their day-to-day trading activities. You'll operate in a fast-paced, real-time trading environment where communication, sound judgment, and attention to detail are essential. You'll also work closely with internal teams to investigate issues, improve client workflows, and contribute to the continued evolution of our products and support model. We'll trust you to Provide real-time support for clients using Bloomberg's EMSX platform across the AMER regionInvestigate and resolve issues related to order routing, executions, allocations, connectivity, and electronic trading workflowsPartner with clients, brokers, Product, Engineering, Sales, Implementation, and global support teams to resolve workflow and trading-related issues Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders, particularly during time-sensitive trading situations Prioritize multiple client requests while exercising sound judgment in a fast-paced environmentMonitor trading activity to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve client workflowsEscalate complex product or technical issues with clear documentation and appropriate business contextBecome a subject matter expert in Bloomberg's EMSX platform, electronic trading workflows, and client use cases Contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, team documentation, and best practicesIdentify opportunities to improve team efficiency through automation, AI-enabled solutions, and continuous process improvementsFoster a collaborative, team-first environment by sharing knowledge and supporting colleaguesYou'll need to have A strong client service mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skillsThe ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment while managing multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detail and the ability to remain organized under pressureExcellent judgment and the ability to prioritize competing client requests effectivelyStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to problem solving Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and build strong working relationships A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of issues from investigation through resolutionAn interest in financial markets, electronic trading, and client-facing technologyWe'd love to see Experience supporting traders, institutional clients, brokers, or front-office users Experience working in electronic trading, trade support, trade operations, brokerage operations, or a trading desk environment. Knowledge of equities, options, futures, or other financial marketsFamiliarity with execution management systems (EMS), order management systems (OMS), or electronic trading platformsExposure to FIX Protocol, order routing, execution workflows, or broker connectivity Experience using Python, SQL, JavaScript, VBA, or similar tools to automate workflows or analyze dataExperience working with APIs, logs, trade data, or technical troubleshootingA curiosity for emerging technologies, including AI and automation, and an interest in improving team processesSalary Range = 120,000 - 150,000 USD Annual + Benefits + BonusThe referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
