Material Handler

Position Ryder is immediately hiring Full‑Time Material Handlers in Hazelwood, Missouri. Compensation & Schedule Hourly pay: $20.23 per hour Additional pay: $1.00 per hour shift pay when working 2nd shift Schedules: Monday – Friday from 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm Products & Equipment Medical supplies Equipment: high‑reach cherry picker, reach truck, etc. Benefits On‑the‑job paid training Employee discounts on tools, cars, hotels, electronics, phones, travel Safety gear provided State‑of‑the‑art equipment and caring leadership Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred Valid forklift operator’s license Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to be a team player in a diverse work environment Highly thorough and dependable Must be punctual with a good attendance record Performs work independently with minimal supervision Possesses a high degree of initiative Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to work using health and safety methods Must be available to work a flexible schedule on various shifts Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices Responsibilities Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting Follow performance measurement guidelines of the contract Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induction, stage products, and load/unload trucks Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.) Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours of production Perform other duties as assigned EEO Statement Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug‑Free workplace.
