Wellspring Skilled Nursing & Rehab – Frankenmuth | Full-time | Salary $110,000 - $120,000

At Wellspring, we're looking for a Nursing Home Administrator & Director of Nursing who believes that leadership is about serving residents, supporting employees, and creating an environment where exceptional care can flourish.

This unique dual-role leadership position combines operational oversight with clinical leadership, offering the opportunity to influence every aspect of the resident experience. You'll guide the overall operation of the community while ensuring nursing services remain focused on quality, dignity, safety, and person-centered care.

What Your Impact Will Look Like

You'll lead both the business and clinical operations of the community, helping ensure residents receive outstanding care while fostering a culture built on compassion, accountability, and excellence.

You'll work closely with interdisciplinary leaders, physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families to create an environment where people feel supported, respected, and heard.

You'll help build and develop strong teams by mentoring leaders, investing in employee growth, and creating a workplace where people are proud to serve.

You'll guide quality improvement efforts, regulatory readiness, staffing strategies, financial stewardship, and operational planning while keeping resident well-being at the center of every decision.

You'll help shape the future of the community by identifying opportunities for growth, improving processes, strengthening culture, and ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.

Some days you'll be working alongside department leaders to solve challenges and improve outcomes. Other days you'll be connecting with residents and families, mentoring managers, reviewing quality initiatives, preparing for surveys, or celebrating the accomplishments of your team.

What You'll Bring

• Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing - required.
• Current Michigan Nursing Home Administrator license in good standing OR willing to obtain within the first year of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Nursing Home Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
• Minimum of five years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute care setting.
• Experience building strong teams, managing operations, overseeing budgets, and driving quality outcomes preferred.

Schedule

• Full-time, on-site Monday-Friday
• Participation in on-call leadership responsibilities and emergency response situations.
• Regular presence throughout the community to support residents, staff, and department leaders.
• Flexibility to meet the needs of a 24/7 healthcare operation.
