Plant Controller

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking an Plant Controller. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $135,000 to $190,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Collaborate with the Global Controller and Finance team to analyze financial data and provide insights.
• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Manage interstate tax compliance efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a manufacturing industry
• Must have cost and inventory experience.

Experience:

• Proficiency in tax compliance and familiarity with relevant tax laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
