RN - WCMC Mother/Baby - Part Time - 8 Hour - PMs

Overview John Muir Health Nursing seeks a registered nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, evidence‑based patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. Responsibilities Plan, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for a defined patient group using John Muir Medical Center Standards of Care, ANA Standards of Practice, and the California Nurse Practice Act. Utilize the therapeutic use of self, nursing process, and technology in partnership with team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and organizational standards. Engage in professional development and support team communication and collaboration. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Minimum 6 months of experience in acute medical nursing. Registered Nurse (RN) license, California Board of Nursing. BLS certification (American Heart Association). NRP certification within 3 months of hire. International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to motivate and lead interdisciplinary teams. Work Schedule Shift: 08:00 – 15:00 or 15:00 – 23:30. Exempt schedule under a Manager level. Compensation Hourly pay range: $87.06 – $118.62, adjusted for local market if hired outside the Bay Area. Pay is based on experience and licensure.
