Job Title: Shipping/Receiving
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Kinston, NC
Pay: $ 16 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm
The Shipping/Receiving position is responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing materials, equipment, products, and supplies. This role coordinates receiving, inspection, storage, order fulfillment, packaging, staging, loading, and shipment activities while maintaining accurate inventory and shipping records. The position ensures materials are properly handled, documented, and delivered in accordance with company procedures, safety requirements, customer expectations, and established schedules. Key Responsibilities:
• Help unload/load trucks
• Assist with check-in and complete appropriate paper work for incoming stock
• Pull and box/bundle orders for shipment
• Build pallets for required material for LTL shipments
• Maintain stock yard and warehouse by keeping stock in assigned locations
• Help load SVM delivery trucks Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years Forklift experience
• Ability to read/understand paperwork and complete accurately
• Ability to write legibly
• Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted Preferred Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, material handling, or a related environment preferred. Core Competencies
