Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-precisely according to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and undertake preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection efforts and properly prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of processes, mentor new staff or students, and ensure adherence to laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety in the work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation obligations.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health qualification, with planned ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification status throughout your tenure.
