Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of complex and routine clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure accuracy in results by analyzing data proficiently, troubleshooting any discrepancies, and executing preventative maintenance and calibration on essential laboratory instruments.
• Gather specimens and prepare samples for testing, collaborating with colleagues as needed.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, help train new team members or students, and contribute to maintaining high laboratory quality standards.
• Promote a clean and safe laboratory environment while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent degree in allied health with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be achieved within one year of employment.
• Maintain ongoing certification throughout your tenure.
