Description - Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of routine and specialized laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established protocols to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Evaluate test results meticulously for integrity, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform necessary preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and ensure proper preparation of samples for testing when required.
• Document all procedures in detail, provide training for new personnel or students, and uphold strict laboratory quality standards.
• Promote a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory policies and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or another relevant allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment with us.
