PCU/Tele experience
Experience with Post-Cath Lab patients


Description:
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend, if needed.
Floating requirement: Float to Med Surg if needed.
Float to ICU for PCU patient status only.
Number of beds in unit: 21.
Staff-to-patient ratio: 1:4.
Cancellation policy: Notice of 2 weeks may be given, and cancellation may occur up to 48 hours before the end of a 13-week period.
Charting system used: EPIC.
Trauma level: 3.
Care setting: Acute care.
Division: Nursing.
Shift notes: 12-hour Nights.
First to float required.
Possible 2 extra mandatory shifts within a 6-week period.
