Job Overview Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is seeking an analytical chemistry scientist to enable method development, validation, testing strategy, and problem solving for supplement, nutrition, and powder platforms. This role enables the safe, compliant, and scalable integration of supplement ingredients across RTD energy, hydration, powders, stick packs, and functional nutrition platforms. The Scientist will serve as a technical contributor , partnering with R&D, Regulatory, Supplier Quality, Procurement, and external labs. The Scientist will analyze samples, interpret results, and provide recommendations for product development, ingredient qualification, launch readiness, and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities Method Development & Technical Support Facilitate method development, optimization, validation, and transfer for supplement actives and complex matrices, including powders, stick packs, and blends. Apply sample preparation and method suitability judgment for challenging matrices, including powders, blends, and finished product formats. Contribute methods for identity, potency, impurity profiling, macronutrients, moisture, and stability testing. Ingredient Integration & Risk Management Enable analytical readiness for new material and ingredient integration. Assess technical risk for new-to-KDP ingredients, supplier variability, manufacturing sources, and novel functional ingredients. Partner with Regulatory and Supplier Quality to resolve documentation gaps, testing failures, and ingredient risks. Testing Strategy & Execution Execute analytical testing strategies across RTD, powder, stick pack, hydration, and functional nutrition formats. Enable finished-good powder testing, including method suitability, potency, ingredient uniformity, shelf-life, and launch readiness. Facilitate external lab engagement, including method fit, protocol alignment, data review, troubleshooting, and OOS follow-up. Drive powder characterization, including moisture, water activity, density, particle size, flowability, caking, blend uniformity, and reconstitution performance. Communicate analytical results, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Sensory, Product Development, Regulatory, Supplier Quality, Procurement, external labs, and technical service partners. Provide input on test requirements, timelines, feasibility, and launch-readiness decisions. Continuous Improvement & Capability Building Contribute to standardizing supplement analytical methods, testing frameworks, playbooks, and best practices. Enable scalable analytical capability for emerging supplement, functional nutrition, and powder platforms across internal and external lab networks.
