Lead Teacher Position Right now, we are looking for a lead teacher that has great enthusiasm, patience, and a caring, kind heart. He/she will collaborate with the assistant teacher and lead the class in all ways. Responsibilities Help teach a class of 12 students Work a full-time schedule (40 hours a week) Help plan and teach daily activities and lessons that correspond with the curriculum Help promote multi-cultural education Maintain a safe and healthy environment Help students learn classroom rules and procedures, as well as personal responsibility and respect for fellow students Use appropriate behavior management and classroom discipline Attend to children's basic needs which might include: feeding them, dressing them, etc. Supervise class projects, field trips and visits by guest teachers Establish consistent communication with parents and children Write weekly class and individual student updates to parents Qualifications Experience Childcare: 1 year (Preferred) Relevant: 3 years (Preferred) Personal Must be at least 18 years old Must have ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience Must have CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain Must have impeccable references and a proven track record of caring and nurturing children Must have excellent organizational skills Company Culture Team-oriented – cooperative and collaborative Job Fit A good fit for applicants with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma Work Remotely: No Job Details Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.50 - $27.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Referral program Tuition reimbursement Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Hirebridge
