Lead Teacher

We are always looking for qualified, energetic people who love to work with children. The Lead Teacher is the primary classroom leader and as such directs the actions of the assistant teacher and any float teachers, but also is responsible for the overall activities of the children and their care. He/she will communicate with the parents on an ongoing basis, will interact with the children to ensure they are properly cared for and kept safe and engaged, and will work with the school administrators to deliver the curriculum and perform other duties as assigned. Salary Range: $22-32 per hour, depending on education/experience Job-Type: Usually FT, but may be PT depending on need We offer medical, dental and vision insurance to all employees who work 30 hours or more per week. Must have documented child development education or work experience in the WA state “STARS” system within six months of hire. Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal resident alien status and successfully pass a criminal background check.
