A Server is required to have extensive knowledge of menu offerings. The person in this position must be able to roll their sleeves up and assist our teams when needed, living our "ONE TEAM. ONE VISION." philosophy. This person must also provide innovative ways that align with our mission to be the best, most respected hotel company in America.The job is simple:Focus on ways to promote and engage in internal growth programs.Continuously exemplify and live by our Culture.Meet/exceed our company goals and three metrics.Complete all required brand specific trainingComplete all required Vision University trainingComplete all required health and safety training for all needed licenses or permitsAdhere to all Vision Hospitality Group and property specific brand standardsPerform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guestsProvide personalized, friendly service to each and every guestServe Alcoholic/non-Alcoholic beverages in conjunction with local licensing/liquor regulationsHas extensive knowledge of menu, specials, and all productsEnsure Food and Beverage orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in a timely mannerReturn to each table periodically to ascertain whether additional items are desiredReceive payment from guests and follows established procedures for accounting for paymentsNecessary Skills:Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, associate issues, etc.Must be responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow associates, and hotel assetsHave knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation proceduresHave dependable transportation availableAble to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in personAble to work a flexible schedule.
