Senior EngineerWalter P Moore has an immediate opening for a Senior Engineer to join our dynamic Construction Engineering team. The qualified candidate will have at least 6+ years' relevant experience working in the areas of steel design, steel connection design and erection sequencing analysis.The qualified candidate should possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated senior engineer who can work within a strong team environment, serving clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally. Technical specialization, proactivity and aggressiveness when meeting client and project needs are required.Clients will include architects, developers, institutions, and contractors. In addition to all the skills listed above, the qualified candidate should possess a strong "can-do" customer service attitude.Qualifications6-9 years' experience in steel design, steel connection design and erection sequencing analysisDemonstrated career growth that includes supervision of junior staffMaster's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural strongly preferredE. license within your residing state, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 monthsExperience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) a plusSAP 2000 modeling experience requiredCandidates must be proactive, have strong organizational skill, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be client-service orientedHybrid Firm Position:Walter P Moore is a Hybrid firm, offering a unique opportunity to have the best of in-office and work from home environments.
