What You'll Do
  • Provide high-quality emergency care to diverse patient populations
  • Assess patient conditions and perform detailed charting
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
  • Handle patient education and discharge planning efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and hospital policies
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC electronic health records
  • Assist in patient transfers and coordinate with specialists as needed
What You Need
  • Current RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure reciprocity
  • At least 2 years of ER experience, with charge nurse experience preferred
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, PALS (all active)
  • Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and excellent communication
