Survey Crew Chief

Most projects will be located in Mobile and Baldwin counties in Alabama. Occasional out of town and overnight work will be required. After a period of on-the-job training, this position will involve mostly working as a 1-man survey crew with GPS and robotic total station equipment. This position will also involve working as a 2-man survey crew when a 2-man crew is better suited for a particular project. Job Duties: Operate survey instruments such as robotic total stations, data collectors, GPS, and other standard survey equipment to collect field data. Perform necessary calculations in the field. Create legible and accurate field notes. Maintain field survey equipment, vehicles, and supplies. Possess talent to act as a positive representative of the company and its core values. Perform other duties as assigned. Prerequisites for employment include: Reliable, self-motivated, industrious individual High School Diploma or GED 1 years of Survey Crew Instrument Operator experience Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Ability to work outdoors on a daily basis Ability to safely use sharp tools such as a machete to clear line through wooded properties Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly Pass random drug screening #J-18808-Ljbffr Wattier Surveying, Inc.
