About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Interventional Radiology to lead the expansion and growth of its interventional radiology services. The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical coverage of the interventional radiology service, instruction of medical students and residents, and the pursuit of academic interests and research. This role involves integrating and performing all aspects of interventional radiology, including but not limited to, spinal augmentation, women's health, hepatobiliary disease, trauma, dialysis access maintenance, vascular disease, and interventional oncology. The Chief will work closely with departmental and health system leadership to define standards of practice, build subspecialty programs, and strengthen the teaching and research missions within the medical college. Applicants for the Chief of Interventional Radiology position at the company must have an MD or DO degree, be ABR Certified, and fellowship-trained with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Interventional Radiology. A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in interventional radiology, preferably in an academic medical center or academic setting, is required. The ideal candidate will be a charismatic leader and teacher, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and mentorship. Key responsibilities include guiding a high-acuity IR program, recruiting IR faculty, and supporting CME and research goals.
