Vice President

The Vice President of Post Collections is responsible for leading the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of landfill sites. This role oversees daily operations such as waste disposal, equipment use, leachate and gas systems, soil cover, and safety management, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. The position includes managing budgets, vendor contracts, and capital expenditures, as well as supervising staff, enforcing OSHA standards, and supporting career development. The VP also leads long-term site planning, including construction, closure, and post-closure care, while collaborating with engineering teams to implement design and environmental improvements. Additional responsibilities include reporting to regulatory bodies, engaging with government and community stakeholders, addressing public concerns, and integrating technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency. The role requires extensive experience in landfill or waste management operations, strong leadership and communication skills, regulatory expertise, and technical knowledge of environmental monitoring and landfill systems.
