Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong experience in injection molding, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, and PLC I/O troubleshooting.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipmentTroubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsDiagnose and resolve electrical issues, including wiring, controls, and componentsWork with PLC systems, including input/output (I/O) troubleshooting and basic programming adjustmentsSupport production by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtimeConduct routine inspections and identify potential issues before failures occurMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentationCollaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiencyFollow all safety procedures and company policiesQualificationsMinimum of 4+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of injection molding machines and processesExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systemsSolid understanding of industrial electrical systems (120V–480V)Experience troubleshooting PLC systems and I/OAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manualsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and in a team environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with robotic systems or automation equipmentPLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley or similar)Welding or fabrication experience is a plusWork EnvironmentManufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperaturesMay require overtime, weekends, or on-call support as needed
