Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,793–$3,016 per week Contract length: 26 weeks Shift: 10-hour day shifts, four days per week Start date: September 28, 2026 Setting: hospital imaging department Responsibilities Perform ultrasound examinations for abdomen, OB/GYN, and vascular studies in accordance with ARDMS credentials and facility protocol Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort; maintain sterile technique Operate and optimize images on ultrasound equipment (Canon Aplio 1800 and GE LOGIQ E10 R4); select probes and adjust settings for diagnostic quality Document findings in the Epic EMR system, label studies accurately, and communicate results to radiologists or ordering physicians Maintain equipment, perform routine quality checks, and report malfunctions; adhere to infection control and safety standards Participate in rotating assignments between campus sites as needed to meet patient volumes and workflow Requirements Active NYS Radiologic Technology Licensure; CT Certification; NYS injection Certification ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Vascular (active) Minimum 5 years of ultrasound clinical experience; prior travel experience preferred Epic experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable) BLS certification; Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency) Ability to work on-site in a hospital setting and float between campus locations as needed Evidence of reliable transportation; willingness to work 10-hour days and participate in floating assignments Benefits and Support 26-week travel assignment with a defined start date Four 10-hour day shifts per week, with on-site responsibilities Bi-weekly orientation on Mondays Rotation between campus sites to cover imaging needs Access to Epic EMR workflow and on-site support Equipment familiarity with Canon Aplio 1800 and GE LOGIQ E10 R4 Dedicated recruitment and assignment support throughout the contract Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
