Key Responsibilities Leads supplier management, sourcing strategy, and procurement activities for complex commodities, operational categories, or strategic suppliers. Negotiates complex agreements, manages supplier performance initiatives, and identifies opportunities for cost reduction, operational efficiency, and supply chain improvement. Serves as a procurement subject matter expert and supports cross-functional sourcing and operational initiatives. All roles at Signia are expected to support the company’s operating model (SOAR) and contribute to the organization’s business value drivers, Profitable New Business, Productivity, Precision M&A, and Value-Based Pricing, through operational excellence, continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer focus. Key Deliverables of the Position Successful execution of strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives Effective negotiation and management of complex supplier agreements and contracts Improved supplier quality, delivery, cost, and operational performance Identification and implementation of procurement efficiency and cost reduction opportunities Reliable supplier performance management and accountability processes Strong supplier partnerships supporting operational and business objectives Technical guidance and procurement support for cross-functional teams and junior staff Requirements Education and Experience Comprehensive knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and supply chain practices Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related discipline preferred Typically requires 4–6 years of procurement or supply chain experience Works under minimal supervision and may supervise or mentor junior staff Technical Competencies Strategic sourcing and procurement management Supplier negotiations and contract management Supplier performance and relationship management Cost reduction and operational improvement initiatives Procurement compliance and risk management Cross-functional sourcing and operational coordination Data analysis and procurement reporting Technical leadership and mentoring Proficient Computer Skills – Microsoft Office and procurement systems Excellent Communication Skills – both verbal and written Behavioral Competencies – Demonstrates behaviors consistent with our values Think and act like an owner Uses company resources wisely & cost-effective Shows pride in the organization and a commitment to its long-term success Takes full responsibility for their actions Holds self to high standards of performance and integrity Demonstrates high integrity Consistently acts with honestly, transparency and high ethics Makes decisions based on what is morally right Owns their actions and holds self-accountable Puts team above self; in it together Prioritizes team and company over personal gain Collaborates with team members within the department and across all functions Contributes to a positive, inclusive work environment Innovates and improves Actively supports or initiates continuous improvement efforts Shares ideas and suggests solutions that enhance team or business performance Stays open to feedback and embraces changes Demonstrates a bias towards action Honors commitments Consistently follows through on project timelines, meeting and deliverables Takes ownership for responsibilities and delivers results Makes and holds commitment Communicates proactively when challenges arise and adjusts plans to stay on track Equal Opportunity Employer / Protected Veteran / Disability / E-Verify #J-18808-Ljbffr
