Are you a detail-oriented, driven Cost and Financial Analyst ready to help shape financial integrity and operational transparency for a global leader in advanced manufacturing? Norsk Titanium, an innovative pioneer in 3D-printed, aerospace-grade titanium components, is looking for a Cost and Financial Analyst to join our team in Plattsburgh, NY! As a Cost and Financial Analyst , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy, serving as our primary ERP Finance subject matter expert , and translating operational data into actionable strategic insights . You will have the opportunity to bridge the gap between finance, production, and supply chain teams while driving process automation and continuous improvement across the organization! What you will do: Own Core Finance Processes: Drive financial accuracy across revenue recognition, cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory valuation, intercompany transactions, and key balance sheet accounts. Lead Closing & Controls: Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with meticulous reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and audit-ready documentation. Serve as ERP Finance SME: Act as the primary subject matter expert for our ERP system, safeguarding data integrity, refining costing structures, and optimizing transaction flows. Deliver Actionable Insights: Perform deep-dive cost, margin, and variance analyses to explain business performance and uncover operational efficiencies. Automate & Innovate: Develop, maintain, and automate dynamic dashboards, KPI reports, and management presentations to empower data-driven decision-making. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure strong financial discipline and decision support. Who you are: Educated & Experienced: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, paired with 3–5 years of progressive finance/costing experience (preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or project-based environments). Tech & Systems Savvy: Strong knowledge of ERP systems, data management, and reporting tools, with advanced Excel skills and experience building dashboards/KPI models. Analytical & Structured: Highly detail-oriented with a passion for data accuracy, process optimization, and getting to the root cause of financial variances.
