This role will work closely with the Fabrication Leader to support the build, assembly, repair, and preparation of custom fabrication projects. The ideal candidate has experience working with CNC and manual machinery, welding, carpentry, metal fabrication, or general machine shop operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Fabrication Leader with daily machine shop operations and fabrication projectsOperate CNC and manual machinery, power tools, and shop equipment safely and efficientlyPerform welding, cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembly work as neededAssist with carpentry, framing, and custom build projectsRead and interpret basic measurements, drawings, and fabrication plansHelp load, unload, organize, and maintain materials and inventoryEnsure the fabrication shop remains clean, organized, and safety compliantTroubleshoot minor equipment or build issues as they ariseSupport project timelines and deadlines in a collaborative team environmentAssist with installation prep, packing, and occasional onsite support if neededQualificationsPrevious experience in fabrication, welding, carpentry, machinery operation, or a related trade preferredComfortable using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipmentBasic understanding of machine shop safety practices and proceduresAbility to lift and move materials up to 75+ lbsStrong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamReliable transportation and dependable attendanceForklift experience is a plusExperience in scenic fabrication, production environments, or custom builds is a plusWhat We Offer:401(k) retirement planDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurance coveragePaid time offVision insuranceJoin us at Strictly FX and be a part of creating unforgettable experiences that captivate audiences worldwide.
