VP, Business Development
Rapport Therapeutics
Rapport Therapeutics seeks a VP of Business Development to establish strategic partnerships that advance its precision neuromedicine platform. The role involves developing and executing business development strategy across the pipeline, monitoring competitive and licensing landscapes in CNS, and identifying partnership opportunities in Boston with Monday-Wednesday onsite presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine overall business development strategy across pipeline and geography
- Monitor competitive and licensing landscape in CNS, identifying actionable partnering insights
- Identify and prioritize in-licensing, out-licensing, and strategic partnership opportunities
- Build and manage proactive pipeline of potential partnership opportunities
- Represent company at industry conferences, investor events, and partnering forums
Requirements
- Extensive experience in business development within biotech or pharmaceutical industry
- Deep knowledge of CNS therapeutic area, competitive landscape, and licensing dynamics
- Proven track record negotiating and closing in-licensing and out-licensing deals
- Strategic thinking with ability to translate market intelligence into recommendations
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience representing company at industry conferences and partnering forums
