Corporate Consolidations Accountant

The Corporate Consolidations Accountant will play a key role in the monthly close and consolidation process, including trial balance consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, elimination entries, and the preparation of management, lender, and investor reporting packages. In addition to core accounting responsibilities, this position will help drive reporting standardization, process improvements, and financial transparency across a multi-state, multi-business-unit organization.As the company continues to grow through acquisition and expansion, this role will have the opportunity to support acquisition integration efforts, reporting harmonization initiatives, and the development of scalable financial processes that support long-term growth. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys transforming financial data into meaningful insights that support executive decision-making.The ideal candidate is highly organized, systems-oriented, and eager to grow within a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist with monthly consolidation of financial results across operating entitiesPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesConsolidate trial balances and maintain financial reporting workbooksPerform intercompany reconciliations and assist with elimination entriesSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesAssist with management, lender, and investor reporting packagesMaintain and improve reporting processes and documentationCoordinate with accounting teams across operating companies to ensure timely and accurate reportingSupport annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across operating entities.Create executive-level financial dashboards and KPI reporting for leadership and board presentations.Support purchase accounting and acquisition-related reporting requirements.Help to establish scalable reporting processes across a growing family of companies.Serve as a liaison between corporate finance and operating company accounting teams.Train and support local accounting teams on reporting requirements and best practices.Drive consistency in financial reporting processes across multiple business units.Support annual audits and ad hoc financial analysis projectsAssist with other, ad-hoc financial duties as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance3–5 years of accounting experiencePublic accounting experience preferredAdvanced Excel skills including Power Query, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling.Experience with multi-entity consolidations preferredExperience working with ERP systems and financial reporting toolsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Premier-Produceone
