Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Or related field

Minimum 12 years of experience required.

Job Summary
We're looking for a senior AWS Cloud Migration Engineer to help modernize and migrate legacy .NET and Windows-based applications from on-premises environments to AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with application containerization, legacy application modernization, AWS migration, and building resilient cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Containerize legacy Windows-based .NET applications and services for AWS environments.
Refactor and modernize legacy Windows/.NET components for cloud deployment.
Migrate applications and services from on-premises infrastructure to AWS.
Re-architect applications to take advantage of AWS cloud services and capabilities.
Support highly available and resilient cloud environments, including Multi-AZ architectures.
Implement and improve DevSecOps pipelines and deployment processes.
Enhance production monitoring and observability using Amazon CloudWatch and related AWS services.
Support cloud cutover, migration, switchover, and resiliency activities.
Work with engineering teams to improve application reliability, scalability, and non-functional requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with AWS cloud migration and modernization.
Hands-on experience with .NET / Windows-based applications.
Experience containerizing and refactoring legacy applications.
Experience migrating applications from on-premises to AWS.
Strong understanding of AWS architecture and cloud services.
Experience with DevSecOps / CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Multi-AZ, high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud resiliency.
Experience with CloudWatch or similar monitoring/observability tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with complex or mission-critical applications is preferred.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior cloud engineer who understands both legacy .NET/Windows environments and modern AWS architecture. They should be comfortable taking an existing on-premises application, containerizing or refactoring it, and moving it into AWS while improving resiliency, monitoring, security, and deployment automation.
