GCP Data Migration Lead

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a GCP Data Migration Lead
Job Type: Contract, Fulltime (W2)
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Charlotte, NC- Hybrid 3 days onsite /2 days remote
 
As a Senior GCP Data Migration Technical Lead, you will:

• Lead data migration initiatives from on-premises environments to GCP.
• Design and oversee data migrations from external and cloud vendor environments to GCP
• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale ETL and data pipelines.
• Own end-to-end technical delivery for assigned GCP migration programs.
• Drive projects from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and production release.
• Troubleshoot technical, coding, design, and implementation issues and identify root causes.
• Develop hands-on solutions and contribute to coding and implementation activities when required.

 
The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong experience with BigQuery, Cloud Composer, and Google Cloud Storage (GCS).
• Experience designing and developing data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions.
• Experience with large-scale data migration and data movement.
• Experience migrating data from on-premises environments to GCP.
• Experience migrating data from external or cloud vendor environments into GCP.
• Ability to work hands-on with development while providing technical leadership.
• Experience working with business, architecture, networking, and program management teams.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $75 hr - $85hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
