Junior Business Analyst

Location: Boise, ID (100% Onsite)

Pay Rate: $28–$32/hour (W-2)

Position Overview

We are seeking a  Junior Business Analyst to support enterprise learning and HR technology initiatives. This role will partner with project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to help coordinate software implementation projects, gather business requirements, support testing activities, and maintain project documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Business Analyst looking to build experience with enterprise software implementations, cross-functional collaboration, and business process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Gather, document, and maintain business and system requirements.
• Analyze business processes and assist in identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Create and maintain process flows, operating procedures, governance documentation, and project artifacts.
• Support business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Support

• Assist with project planning, workstream coordination, and status tracking.
• Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, action items, and key milestones.
• Support project governance activities and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and implementation partners to keep projects moving forward.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Develop test cases and support system validation efforts.
• Track defects and assist with issue resolution.
• Support system implementation, integration testing, and production readiness activities.

Reporting & Communication

• Assist with reporting, KPI tracking, and data validation.
• Support change management, training, and operational readiness initiatives.
• Prepare project documentation, meeting notes, status updates, and communications.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Coordination, Systems Analysis, or enterprise software implementation support.
• Experience supporting cross-functional technology projects.
• Strong requirements gathering and business documentation skills.
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system testing.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting HR systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Learning Experience Platforms (LXP), talent management, or workforce development solutions.
• Experience supporting vendor implementations and system integrations.
• Experience with reporting, analytics, and KPI development.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
