Job Summary Wentworth Community Dental Center, located at 668 Central Avenue in Dover, NH, provides affordable, high-quality dental care to underserved individuals and families throughout the greater Dover community. Summary: Assists with a variety of health care tasks, from taking dental x-rays and caring for patients, to helping file records and appointment scheduling. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions: Assists dental hygienists with procedures when necessary. Records treatment information in patient records. Exposes dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment. Gives patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs. Collects and records medical and dental histories, as well as patient vital signs. Provides postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist. Orders dental supplies and maintains dental equipment inventory. Fabricates temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
