This role ensures material availability to meet production schedules while balancing inventory levels, service performance, and cost.The Buyer works cross‑functionally with Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics to execute plans, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.What will your day look like?Generate and maintain material requirements based on demand forecasts and production schedulesCreate, review, and manage purchase requirements in the ERP system to ensure timely material availabilityMonitor inventory levels and recommend actions to prevent shortages, excess, or obsolescenceSupport daily and weekly execution by resolving material availability issues impacting productionPartner with Manufacturing and Production Planning to align material plans with production needsCollaborate with Procurement on purchase order timing, supplier performance, and issue resolutionCommunicate material risks, constraints, and changes to relevant stakeholdersMaintain accurate material master data including lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, and ordering policiesAnalyze inventory and consumption trends to improve planning accuracyExecute planning activities within ERP systems and supporting Excel toolsParticipate in initiatives to improve material flow, planning processes, and system utilizationSupport root cause analysis of material shortages, excess inventory, and service failuresDocument standard work and contribute to consistent planning practicesWhat you bring to the table:BA or equivalent experience0 - 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing.Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Oracle preferred)Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.You should be goal oriented, confident, outgoing, and able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Ability to analyze and interpret data to make timely decisions and recommendations.The ability to build meaningful partnerships across the organization.Expected to succeed within a competitive environment.Demonstrate good judgment, be decisive and possess ability to apply critical thinking when solving problems.Must be able to work independently and demonstrate effective initiative.Company Values:Must adhere to The Gorilla Glue Company’s Core Values that ensure everyone works together to exceed expectations.Have fun, be passionate and show it!Act with integrity and respect in all relationships.Communicate openly and appreciate the effort of others.Embrace knowledge, growth, and change.Strive for excellence in what we do every day!Company Values:Adhere to Gorilla Glue Company’s Core Values that ensure everyone works together to exceed expectations.Have fun, be passionate and show it!Act with integrity and respect in all relationships.Communicate openly and appreciate the efforts of others.Embrace knowledge, growth and change.Strive for excellence in what we do every day!Are you ready to join one of Cincinnati’s Top Workplaces?
