Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll accurately and on time for a multi-state workforce. This role is responsible for all aspects of payroll administration, including employee onboarding and terminations, wage and salary changes, payroll audits, tax withholdings, garnishments, benefit deductions, and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. The Payroll Specialist will serve as a key resource for employees regarding payroll-related questions and will work closely with Human Resources, Accounting, and management to ensure payroll accuracy and confidentiality.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive employee information with discretion. Hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems is non-negotiable and required for consideration . Candidates must demonstrate a thorough understanding of payroll processing, payroll tax reporting, timekeeping systems, and regulatory compliance. Experience with payroll reconciliations, year-end reporting (W-2s), and resolving payroll discrepancies is highly preferred. The successful candidate will be proactive, dependable, and committed to delivering accurate payroll services in a fast-paced environment.
