Ultrasound Technologist - Ultrasound Tech


Job Details:


• Perform ultrasound scans for high-risk pregnancy patients in Maternal Fetal Medicine specialty
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio throughout shifts
• Utilize advanced knowledge of fetal abnormalities and diagnostic techniques
• Perform scans of various anatomical areas and identify cross-sectional human anatomy
• Distinguish normal from abnormal findings to establish initial evaluation of sonograms
• Work with GE Voluson Ultrasound machines and EPIC EMR system with AS OB/GYN software
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with physicians, patients, and staff
• Maintain basic computer proficiency for email and electronic medical records
• Required certifications: BLS and ARDMS with specialty in OB/GYN
• Minimum 1 year of sonographer experience specifically in Maternal Fetal Medicine required
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Typically 2-week orientation or until competent with workflow
• Any color scrubs permitted
• No floating required
• Free parking available in attached underground lot
