A rapidly growing, venture-backed AI infrastructure company is seeking a highly technical Security Software Engineer to build and own security from the ground up.

This is a rare opportunity to join a founding-level engineering team working at the intersection of security, infrastructure, and artificial intelligence. The company partners with leading AI organizations to support large-scale data creation, model development, and agentic workflows, requiring innovative approaches to securing highly sensitive systems and data.

What You'll Do

Design and implement security infrastructure across AWS and GCP environments

⚙️ Build automated systems for threat detection, incident response, and security operations

Secure AI-specific data pipelines, model interaction layers, and training workflows

Integrate security controls directly into engineering workflows without slowing development velocity

️ Contribute to core infrastructure and platform engineering initiatives beyond security

Establish and execute the company's security roadmap while helping define long-term security strategy

What We're Looking For

✅ 4–7 years of experience in security engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related fields

✅ Strong software engineering skills with Python, Go, and/or TypeScript

✅ Experience securing cloud-native environments in AWS and/or GCP

✅ A builder's mindset—someone who develops security systems and automation rather than relying solely on commercial tools

✅ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with significant ownership and autonomy
