Senior Manager, Tax and Accounting

Senior Manager – Tax & Accounting Location: Louisville, KY | Hybrid Flexibility Abacus! is growing and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Tax & Accounting to help lead the future of our firm. As a Senior Manager, you’ll provide leadership across tax, audit, and accounting engagements while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and mentor to staff. In This Role, You Will: Lead and review complex tax, audit, and accounting engagements Build strong client relationships and provide strategic business guidance Mentor and develop high-performing accounting professionals Drive operational improvements and support firm growth initiatives Ensure compliance with tax laws, auditing standards, and professional best practices What We’re Looking For CPA required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 8+ years of progressive public accounting experience Strong leadership, client management, and technical accounting skills Experience managing engagements and developing teams Experience with QuickBooks, UltraTax, and AdvanceFlow preferred Compensation & Benefits The total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits.
