Position: Full-Time, Live-Out Nanny
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
Compensation: $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience

About the Family

A warm and active private family located in Key Biscayne, Florida is seeking an experienced, professional, and engaging Full-Time Nanny to join their household. The family has three children, ages 7, 6, and 3, all of whom attend school full-time.

The family is looking for a nurturing and dependable nanny who genuinely enjoys working with children and can provide a balance of structure, education, creativity, and fun. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and confident managing multiple children and their afternoon and evening routines.

Fluency in both Spanish and English is required , and candidates with a teaching, education, early childhood development, or similar educational background are strongly preferred.

The family values a low-screen environment and would love someone who enjoys actively engaging the children through educational activities, creative projects, outdoor play, reading, baking, games, and other hands-on experiences.

Driving is an important component of the position, as the nanny will assist with school pick-ups, extracurricular activities, and transportation for the children. Valid license is required 

Responsibilities

• Pick up the children from school and provide transportation to extracurricular activities, appointments, and other scheduled commitments
• Safely manage transportation for multiple children and coordinate afternoon schedules
• Provide attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for all three children
• Assist with homework, reading, school projects, and other educational activities
• Encourage learning and development through age-appropriate, hands-on activities
• Plan engaging, screen-free activities such as arts and crafts, puzzles, baking, outdoor play, games, and creative projects
• Help maintain consistent afternoon and evening routines
• Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Assist with children's dinner and evening routines
• Keep children's areas, belongings, school materials, and activity supplies organized
• Assist with child-related errands and household tasks as needed
• Help prepare children and their belongings for school, activities, and family travel
• Communicate regularly with the parents regarding schedules, school updates, activities, and the children's needs
• Maintain a calm, structured, positive, and engaging environment for the children
• Travel with the family as needed

The ideal candidate is warm, energetic, nurturing, and genuinely passionate about working with children. They should be comfortable taking initiative and managing the needs and schedules of three children while maintaining a calm and organized environment.

The family would especially value a candidate with a teaching or educational background who can incorporate learning naturally into the children's daily routines. Someone who enjoys reading with children, helping with homework, creating educational activities, and encouraging curiosity and independence would be an excellent fit.

The nanny should be proactive and intuitive, recognizing what needs to be done without requiring constant direction. Strong communication skills, reliability, flexibility, and excellent time management are essential.

Requirements

• Fluent in both Spanish and English
• Prior professional nanny experience, preferably within a private household
• Experience caring for and managing multiple children
• Teaching, education, early childhood development, or similar background strongly preferred
• Strong driving skills with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Comfortable transporting children to and from school, activities, and appointments
• Ability to assist with homework and provide educational and developmentally appropriate activities
• Ability to prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for children
• Highly organized, dependable, proactive, and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable traveling with the family as needed
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification
• Excellent professional references
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
