CAS Senior Manager / Director

Client Accounting Services Director / Practice Leader Location: North Shore, Massachusetts (Hybrid) Overview Our client is a highly successful and rapidly growing tax and advisory firm that is launching a dedicated Client Accounting Services (CAS) practice. They are seeking an entrepreneurial leader to help build, scale, and oversee this newly created division. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, creating processes, and driving growth. You'll partner directly with firm leadership to establish the vision, strategy, and operational foundation for a practice that is expected to be a significant contributor to the firm's future success. Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the firm's Client Accounting Services strategy Build, manage, and mentor a growing team of accounting professionals Oversee client service delivery across bookkeeping, outsourced accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and advisory services Establish scalable processes, workflows, and best practices to support growth Drive client acquisition efforts in partnership with firm leadership and business development teams Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on accounting operations, reporting, and financial management Manage practice performance, including revenue growth, profitability, utilization, and client satisfaction Evaluate and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and service delivery Collaborate with Tax and Advisory teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and deliver a seamless client experience Qualifications 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership within a Client Accounting Services, Outsourced Accounting, Family Office, or similar practice CPA preferred Experience managing teams and client relationships in a public accounting environment Strong understanding of accounting operations, financial reporting, and advisory services Demonstrated ability to develop processes, improve efficiency, and scale service offerings Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and grow a business unit Strong communication, leadership, and relationship management skills Why This Role Opportunity to build and lead a newly created Client Accounting Services practice from the ground up Ideal for a CAS Manager, Senior Manager, Associate Director, or Director seeking broader leadership responsibility and long-term career growth Direct partnership with firm leadership on strategy, growth initiatives, hiring, and practice development Ability to shape service offerings, technology, processes, and team structure from day one Significant influence on the future success and direction of the division Strong reputation, loyal client base, and proven track record of success Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture that values innovation and leadership Strong compensation package with meaningful upside tied to the growth and success of the practice Compensation $150,000 - $200,000+ Base Salary plus a highly competitive overall compensation package, including bonus opportunities, leadership incentives, and comprehensive benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting
