Job Details

A leading Florida insurance and financial services company seeks a part-time contract Attorney or Paralegal to provide overflow support for commercial contracting matters. This flexible role suits experienced legal professionals looking for part-time work with an established organization.

Responsibilities

• Review and draft commercial contracts and agreements
• Provide overflow support to full-time contracting attorney
• Analyze contract terms and identify legal issues
• Assist with contract negotiations and revisions
• Maintain contract documentation and files
• Support various commercial transactions as needed

Qualifications

• JD or Paralegal certification required
• Strong commercial contracts experience (3+ years preferred)
• Solid understanding of contract law and negotiation
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Florida bar admission preferred (or ability to work under attorney supervision)
• Comfortable with flexible, remote work arrangements
