Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NICU

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience for a position in a Level IV NICU setting. The ideal candidate will be Level IV NICU trained and willing to work in an adult floor, ICU, and the NICU.

Key Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care in a Level IV NICU setting.
Administer respiratory therapy treatment and evaluations for both adult and neonatal patients.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Monitor and assess patient conditions and response to therapy.
Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and national standards.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, with required NICU experience.
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
Washington State Respiratory License required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
Ability to float to adult floor and ICU as needed.
Weekend availability required as per unit demands.

Work Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, with flexibility to accommodate unit needs.

Additional Information

No on-call responsibilities required for this role.
No travel to sister locations is needed; floating within the hospital is expected.
Maximum restriction on requested time off (RTO) is one week.
Daily parking fee is applicable at the facility.
