Group Home Manager Department: Adult Residential Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour Job Description: The Group Home Manager provides leadership, supervision, and support to Direct Support Professionals and other team members within Benedictine's residential services program. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality, person-centered supports that promote independence, community inclusion, and meaningful life experiences for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Group Home Manager oversees daily operations, staff performance, regulatory compliance, and the overall well-being of the individuals supported. Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and performance management for Direct Support Professionals and residential staff. Promote and implement person-centered planning practices that support individual goals, preferences, independence, and community inclusion. Ensure compliance with CMS Community Settings Rule requirements and all applicable agency, state, and federal regulations. Partner with Human Resources and Residential Leadership in recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention efforts. Monitor staffing levels, schedules, attendance, and payroll processes to ensure efficient operations. Review and approve timecards, paid time off requests, and attendance records. Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, medication records, and required regulatory documentation. Provide direct support and crisis intervention services as needed. Collaborate with families, nursing staff, Meaningful Day Services, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and communication. Promote employment, volunteer opportunities, community engagement, and meaningful activities for individuals supported. Oversee household operations, including budgeting, financial accountability, grocery planning, maintenance requests, and recreational activities. Conduct monthly site visits and ensure follow-up actions are completed. Assist with transportation and support related to medical appointments and healthcare needs. Foster positive relationships within the community to increase opportunities and promote Benedictine's mission. Participate in on-call responsibilities and respond to residential program needs as required. Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of two years of relevant experience required. Previous management or supervisory experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred. Certified Medication Technician (Med Tech) certification required or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and ability to effectively manage competing priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including participation in on-call responsibilities. Must be a minimum of 18 years old. Must provide proof of authorization to work in the U.S. Must pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal background checks (CJIS/Family Law Article 5-561), and CPS clearance. Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing and meet insurability requirements. Must be able to perform Safety-Care physical interventions, except for approved temporary or minimal restrictions authorized by the Behavior Department.
