We're seeking a Mechanical Estimator in Phoenix, AZ to prepare accurate cost projections and competitive proposals for commercial and industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for large-scale commercial and industrial mechanical projects.
- Review construction drawings, bid packages, and specifications to define project scope.
- Perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC, ductwork, piping, and control systems.
- Develop comprehensive pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Create estimates for design-build, hard bid, and negotiated project types.
- Solicit and compare quotes from various suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identify alternative solutions to improve cost performance and project schedules.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess field conditions.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth project handoffs.

Compensation and Logistics
Competitive salary depending on experience; benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays. This is a full-time office-based position with occasional local travel for site visits.
