As a Surgical Technician, you will be responsible for preparing the operating room, managing surgical equipment, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment for successful surgeries.

In this role, you will:

• Maintain a clean and sterile surgical environment
• Provide the surgeon with appropriate instrumentation and equipment
• Assist the surgeon during procedures
• Prepare the operating room for surgery
• Keep records of use of Steam Sterilizer
• Perform initial instrument, sharps, and sponge counts with the circulator
• Keep the suture carts organized and monitor expiration dates
• Turn over rooms in between cases
• Assist team members with gowning and gloving
• Assist with patient positioning pre-operatively and transport patients from cart to bed and back
• Stock adequate supplies for surgery
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Surgical Technologist certification preferred
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred
• BLS required
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
• Need 1 year experience in setting
