Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description

The General Production Worker plays a crucial role in supporting daily production operations by preparing, packaging, labeling, and palletizing finished products. This position demands attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Wrap finished product rolls in accordance with company quality standards.
• Affix accurate product labels to completed rolls.
• Palletize finished rolls safely and in an organized manner.
• Stretch wrap pallets for storage and shipment.
• Inspect products for quality and report any defects or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
• Assist with general production and warehouse duties as assigned.
• Operate a forklift when certified and authorized (preferred but not required).

• Manufacturing or production experience.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly after training and follow standard operating procedures.
• Good attendance and ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Forklift operation and production line experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

This position offers an exciting growth opportunity, as it is an entry-level role within the facility with potential for direct hire and cross-training in various areas. Employees who demonstrate proficiency in operating different machines will receive pay raises. The company is experiencing a growth phase with increased production demand due to new international customers. The facility offers a great work environment that is temperature-controlled and very clean.

This role is based in a manufacturing facility, where employees are expected to engage in physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods. The facility is temperature-controlled, ensuring a comfortable working environment. Employees must adhere to company safety guidelines and dress appropriately for a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Castle, DE.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
